Although I graduated from the University of Oregon and went back to finish my master's degree, this is not the main reason I would encourage young people to have students there. The truth is that there are many good reasons for choosing the University of Oregon and I would like to share some here.
first The location of the University of Oregon and some of the things the University of Oregon offers.
Oregon University is located in Eugene, Oregon, a city over 100,000 people, about 100 miles south of Portland, Oregon's largest city. Climate is moderate, very few days of frosty weather and very little sunny extremely hot weather. The ocean beaches are a little over an hour away, and the mountain lakes are almost the same distance in the opposite direction. I-5, a large highway running along the eastern side of the city, so the university is one of the most visited colleges in the state.
Eugene City is an active community that provides something for everyone. If you are an outdoor type, Eugene is known for its many bicycle cycling trails, especially the landscapes of the beautiful Willamette River.
During the year, running is often in the spotlight, as Eugene claims that running is the capital of the world. On the pitch, Olympic trials were held on campus last summer, making the title more than desirable thinking.
Art and music festivals abound. The Hult Center for Performing Arts in downtown is in Eugene every day of the week, and people from all over the country (and some nearby states) arrive at the annual Bach Festival.
Eugene offers an excellent restaurant to suit every conceivable tastes.
Lane Community College, an excellent Junior College, is located outside the city and offers extensive technical courses and college-based training programs for those who start college in a smaller institution. (See the link on Lane Community College for more information.)
Each fall, Eugene celebration attracts massive crowds who find out they fall or shine to choose this year's Slug Queen – fairly dubious respect, but that's all good fun. The festival continues with many other activities to seize the minds of those who do not care about the royal royalty, and this is an experience that guarantees you will leave for next year's festival.
There are two large hospitals in the area and healthcare is easily accessible in almost every part of the city. The award-winning newspaper, The Eugene Register Guard, effectively covers local and national news.

3rd Tuition and Student Apartment by 2010
In today's economic environment, tuition fees are a very important aspect when choosing a college. The University of Oregon agrees with the same size of other state dormitories where college costs are concerned. The autumn 2010 tuition fee is estimated at $ 7428, for books and kits for $ 1050. Students in need of financial support or scholarships should be urged to visit their website to see what is currently available.
It is difficult to estimate the cost of a home, as this depends on whether a student is living in a dormitory, an apartment, or a house with a college dormitory or family members.
Colleges and apartments are accessible directly to those who can afford it, but there are many rental fees on campus. Unless you have relatives to stay in the neighborhood, the best option is to contact the campus's homeowner who will help you meet your needs whenever you are available. Transport to the University and the City
The University of Oregon does not close the traffic, as there are many colleges these days, but sometimes it is difficult to find a parking lot. Students can apply for parking stickers, but parking spaces are quickly replenished as the first ones come and serve for the first time. If possible, it is advisable for students to use alternative means of transport such as bicycles or public transport systems with bus stops on most corners of the campus.
The public transport system extends far, and in many nearby cities, travel in the area is quite easy. Students can buy tokens at a discounted price and a printed schedule is available so that competitors can plan buses' arrival time, start time, transfers, and routes that can not be run on certain hours or holidays. 19659002] 5.
