There are different types of students at the time they go to college. The remaining or Stayer refers to two terms that occur for each semester until it is completed. These are the ones who would be called full time students who obtain diplomas without scientific delays. On the other hand there are the Dropouts who enter a university and leave their career. And then there are some transfers that enter the school, leave halfway through the course, and enroll in another school with the intention of completing the new school. An institution can estimate the retention rate of the dormitory if you know the intention of your students. So the surveys that look at this are a great help for administrators.
For hundreds of reasons, students leave the university before graduation. For example, the feeling of fit may indicate that it fits to teammates, classmates, team members, college roommates, and so on. When these factors are positively seen by the students, they stay there in school. When they see it negatively, they are almost always abandoned and either find another university or stop studying completely.
There are many reasons why students can continue their dormitory, including parental income, parent support, parent education, educational goals, and even their closest friends or not in the same school. Academic factors affecting student retention include offered courses, general skills, counseling, positive lever interaction, academic resources, and academic integration. Social factors can also be important factors, including contemporary culture and identification with school organizations. Other environmental factors also play a role, including redeployment, financial resources, family responsibilities, ongoing parental support and part-time work.
When school leaders are able to examine these issues through student surveys to find the reasons behind them. They are therefore able to introduce measures that can improve students' circumstances in relation to the possibility of staying in the university and finding another university or completely preventing the school.
These measures are impossible to assure without being primarily concerned – from the point of view of students. Therefore, for each educational institution to improve the retention rate of students, they should consider what students think and feel in the university life. Then, administrators can use information gained to develop educational services, which ultimately results in students being more likely to stay in possession of a diploma.
